Cargill has just put the finishing touches on an $8 million investment in Sarnia that will help us directly connect Ontario grain growers with the world’s export markets. These changes will not only significantly increase the terminal’s capacity and in turn grow the opportunities for Ontario soybean wheat, and corn exports, but they will also decrease our environmental impact. These changes reflect the evolution of farms in Ontario. Three quarters of Ontario’s wheat and soybean production is now exported, and we believe Sarnia is the best possible gateway for your product to reach world markets. Cargill’s team of 27 people are ready to work with you and match your farm’s production to export market needs. You will be able to deliver direct to Sarnia or arrange for on-farm pickup. Let’s see how we can meet your needs. We are all proud of our history of bringing Ontario grains to the world. Cargill has the largest most efficient export network on the St. Lawrence Seaway with total storage space of 580,000 tonnes . We head into the future with a strengthened lake and ocean shipping fleet that will bring your products to market more efficiently than ever. We look forward to proudly serving Ontario farmers into the future. If you have questions or want to learn what opportunities might work for you, give our team a call at 1-888-318-5428 .
