www.GoodinEveryGrain.ca Good in Every Grain 38 GAME OF GRAINS Good in Every Grain hosted a pop-up summer event in Downtown Toronto this summer. Game of Grains was a consumer event to help raise awareness of the Good in Every Grain brand and start conversations about grains and grain farming with the Toronto public. Visitors were also able to put their grain knowledge to the test as they enjoyed a funfilled afternoon playing nostalgic, grain-inspired games and a sweet grain-based treat at Stackt Market on July 29 and 30. While increasing the brand awareness of Good in Every Grain and Ontario grain farming, the event was tailored to increase Good in Every Grain’s reach and engagement with in-person interactions and online social media promotion and coverage. Game of Grains provided Grain Farmers of Ontario staff the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with individuals, including adults, teens, families, and kids, about Ontario grains and educate them on grains grown in Ontario. Hundreds of Good in Every Grain swag and grain-based popsicles were handed out to families, children, and guests of the Game of Grains event. While the rainy summer weather hindered attendance, guests were able to enjoy Good in Every Grain games such as Tic Tac Grain, Connect-Grains, and Corn Hole. On Instagram, the brand increased its engagement by 27.2 per cent, with individuals sharing their Game of Grains experience on the platform and connecting with the Good in Every Grain. We also saw an increase in followers. The event was also promoted through Stackt Market’s social media channels and newsletter, which is sent monthly to more than 20,000 subscribers. •
